The location also offers the facility to shop for curios. You can select from a wide variety of bamboo and wooden artefacts in the curio shop nearby. A children’s park and an aquarium which displays freshwater ornamental fishes are the other attractions in this location. A hatchery for Mahseer fish can also be seen here. Honey, coffee, tea, spice like cardamom are available at best bargain from Pookot lake. When travel to Pookot Lake area, you better stop at least 1km away from your destination and go by walk. You won’t miss the natural beauty of the Pookot and experience many things which cannot be expressed simply through words.
